Adam F Circles A Drum & Bass Classic

This is one of those tracks that every Drum ‘n Bass producer growing up in the ’90s was influenced by. One of the best things to emerge from that era was the advent of Drum ‘n Bass, which I discovered completely by accident after randomly walking into an underground bar in front of Tompkins Square Park in The Village, New York.

I was blown away—what I heard sounded like Jazz and Funk on cybernetic steroids. The heavily syncopated rhythms made it feel like no beat was ever repeating, yet the groove was undeniable, locking you into a perfect pocket, dancing in sync.
